Day 7: Changes to Come

This is a close up photograph of the snow melting on the trees I think this is a good depiction of 'Changes to come'. This photograph makes good use of the rule of thirds. The muted colours of the photograph teamed with the shallow focus gives a calmness to the photograph. A type of calmness like that which is typical of snow in winter.

The muted browns and whites contrast with the red berries. The spines on the branches makes the photograph less calm compared to the other photograph I have taken. Compared to the other previous photograph I have taken this one has a deeper focus and does not seem to make any use of the rule of thirds.

This is a landscape photograph I have taken in portrait mode to give a disjointed view on the world making the reader look at the pylon and not the trees or the snow. I wanted to do this because I wanted to show how apart the pylon was in the setting it is in. I also emphasised this by using the rule of thirds. This photograph also uses triangles as well. So comparing it with the other two photographs this shows a lot more photography techniques.
