This is a portrait of my friend Monique. These photographs are good portraits as I think the background contrasts and compliments the subject. I have to be careful to not add too much head room as that would make the photograph out of balance. The blossom falling behind Monique ads so much to the photograph and ultimately looks more professional. To improve this photograph I would try and add more elements into the portrait to make it more interesting or to tell a story
like the faceless portrait I did.
