This is a close up of a blue flower on a polished wood background creating the refection. The focus of the photograph is the blue flower and the reflection. I think that the bright blue stands out against the darker brown and I really like the effect it has created. The shallow focus emphasizes the delicateness of the flower. This photograph is based around dichotomies, the bright blue flower and the dark treated wood. The delicate, fragile flower and the heavy, unwieldy wood table. The two things are so similar but at the same time they are so different.
