Day 21: Faceless Portrait
This is my entry of the faceless portrait. With this photograph I really wanted to tell a story with it and I think I did this well. The mystery about this girl is something the reader will be intrigued about. The iconic hat and coat that feature in this gives it a cinematic feel which is something I really like. The brick wall background is something I love and I think it adds a lot more atmosphere to the photograph. These photographs also make good se of the rule of thirds. If i were to improve this photograph I would try to ad more of a mystery to the photograph by giving the subject something to hold or is in front of an iconic building.
Day 20: In My Bag
This is a close up photograph of a book to help UCAS statement writing and I took the photograph through a magnifier I own and I bent it so the words and shadows were all out of shape. I think distorting something to do with university is a good depiction of how the system is so difficult to navigate and how some find it very difficult to get a university place. I think this makes for a very effective photograph and I think it is one of my favourites that I have taken.
Day 19: Something you Want
This is a low angle photograph of a chez lounge that I want. I chose to take this photograph at a low angle because I wanted to show how plump the seat and cushions were. I also wanted the Union flag to be the focus of this photograph as it is very striking and will draw the eye towards the subject. I like the teaming of the wallpaper with the subject i think it adds a decadent fell to the overall photograph. If I were to improve this photograph I would add more wallpaper into the photograph as i think it will become more effective.
